Smiling With Daisy is filled with content that I find to be funny, amusing, or whimsical. Topics include cute and funny captioned animal photos, humorous essays on family life, funny videos, and anything that might make someone feel happy enough to smile about having seen it.

Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?

My goal simply is to make the visitors to my blog smile or laugh. I hope to brighten their day a bit by having come to my site.

How long have you been blogging?

I have just recently begun blogging. I have blogged for about three months now.

About how many hours per day do you spend blogging?

From the dust that is piled up on my furniture, it is probably safe to say that I spend way too many hours a day blogging.

Do you use Digg, and why or why not?

Yes, I use Digg to promote sites that I enjoy and to discover new sites to explore.

Do you use Stumbleupon, and why or why not?

Yes, I use Stumbleupon to discover new websites that I would not otherwise see and also to help promote my blog.

What promotional techniques work best for you and why?

I have had the best luck with promoting my blog through a social network that I belong to called Cafemom. Networking with others and making friends works well for spreading the word about my blog.
