Please describe your blog

My blog tells all about the day in the life of a virtual assistant. I include articles I've written, tips and tricks I'm stumbled upon, and information for those who are considering becoming a virtual assistant.

Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?

The purpose of my blog is to educate people about virtual assistants. Because this is still a relatively new industry, the more people know and understand virtual assistants, the more the industry will grow.

What blogging platform do you do and why?

I use Blogger because I've had good experiences with them in the past.

What do you blog the most about?

Being a virtual assistant, time management, and organization.

What kind of blogs make you angry?

Adult content, blogs that contain irrelevant information.

1. Write good content 2. Content should be relevant to your blog 3. Encourage readership 4. Post regularly 5. Update frequently

What are some things you would NEVER blog about?

Personal information about myself or others.

Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?

No

Yes, 3.

Do you use Digg, and why or why not?

Yes. Using Digg allows me to create backlinks and have my content available for additional readers.

Do you use Stumbleupon, and why or why not?

I have an account but I haven't set it up yet.

What promotional techniques work best for you and why?

Offering free stuff. Everyone loves free stuff as long as it can be useful.

If you could post a blog on any blog in the world, which one would it be and why?

My own. I really like my blog.

What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?

No writing frequently enough. People lose interest if they're not receiving new content regularly.

What are your top five blogging site picks and why?

Entrepreneur.com The Savvy Entrepeneur Virtualized Office

I like these blogs because they pertain to entrepreneurship and virtual assistants.
