A blog exploring under appreciated songwriters in general, Jill Sobule in particular. My essays are about what I am passionate about in music today -- but often goes unheard on major radio stations.
Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?
To share with smart, funny people music made by smart funny people. You are welcome.
What blogging platform do you do and why?
Music -- update often -- to get things off my chest that are eatting at me -- and I want to tell someone -- even a blank computer screen.
What do you blog the most about?
Music. Smart, funny music with real human emotions.
What kind of blogs make you angry?
Blogs designed to tear people apart. Hate.
Give five of your best blogging tips.
1. Write late a night when your mind is open. 2. Try to be playful. 3. Be yourself and follow what makes you smile. 4. Don't worry if a lot of people will get it, just as long as you are happy that you expressed that thing that has been haunting you. 5. It isn't work -- it is a chance to play and have fun. Even if it all end in tears.
What are some things you would NEVER blog about?
I am not a negative person. I have wriiten about a number of real people; Jill Sobule, Kay Handley (of Letters to Cleo), Hope Roth (recording her first CD) and blogger (Grace Moon). All haveread my blogged and complemented me. I write with the idea that the people I'm writting about will read it and feel good. I want to build people up, not tera them down. I won't write abn attack blog to hurt some one. Gee -- there are a lot of blogs like that and I know they are very popular -- but they are not me.
Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?

How long have you been blogging?
A few months, I started reading Jill Sobule's now dead Yahoo blog. It wasn't as popular as it should have been so I was able to comment back and forth with Jill and found blogging to be addictive.
About how many hours per day do you spend blogging?
Two or three. Some days I can get lost in it.

I admit I'm new to blogging so won't B.S. It's pretty new to me.
