Please give us a short summary of your website?

This is a great website for everything snowboarding in the Inland Northwest. We have news, events, weather reports and tons of links

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I wanted to convince my local mountain, Mt Spokane Ski and Snowboard Park, to start a snowboard team

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I launched my first website in late october of 2008 and it is the Mt Spokane Snowboard Team website

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Well I wanted my local mountain to start a snowboard team and I found out the local mountain name + "snowboard team" was available to I purchased it.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

I offer a ton of information about all the Inland NW mountains. I am not restricting my news and information and snow reports just to my local mountain. I also have a great blog that is about the snowboard teams exploits

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I'm not sure. I would like the actual mountain (mt spokane ski and snowboard park) to take it over and it would be cool if they paid me some $$

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Well I've ranked very well on google against the actual mt spokane ski and snowboard team website.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would get a custom wordpress theme to make the website look better and be more user friendly

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

I would have to hire my brother who is a web developer to help me out.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Just keeping the website up to date and making sure everything looks good and all the links work

Keeping the website up to date

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

twitter and google

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I didnt have any expectations coming into this since this is my first website

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Ive been running this site for about 2 months and I plan on keeping it up as long as I am in the Spokane area.

What are some of the benefits you are recieving from your website?

Well I've gotten free lift tickets from Silver Mountain and hope to score some more free lift tickets from other mountains
