I blog about my comings and goings in the garden.
Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?
Several years ago I began writing a monthly garden column for a regional newspaper. With space and time limitations blogging seemed the natural solution.
What blogging platform do you do and why?
During the off season I try to write an entry at least every other week. During spring, summer and fall, I'll write weekly if not more. I think it's important to include pictures. Seeing is believing.
What do you blog the most about?
My gardening experiences. It's a vast category. Everything from Xeriscape to snow storms.
What kind of blogs make you angry?
I wouldn't say ANGRY but I am annoyed with: Black backgrounds--hard on my eyes; poorly designed websites--no borders, fonts that are too big or a weird color; a blog that hasn't been updated in, like months; blogs where the writer refuses to acknowledge the replies; book-length entries.
Give five of your best blogging tips.
Have a picture of yourself and a bio; write often; keep entries short; include topic pictures; make your blog easy on the eyes--easy now with so many great tools;
What are some things you would NEVER blog about?
This is easy. I would never blog about MOST things. I'm blogging about gardening specifically.

I can't think of any. This doesn't mean I haven't made mistakes but none come to mind at the present.
