To document my findings, to inform others, and to promote my business, Dito, LLC

What blogging platform do you do and why?

Wordpress. It was easy to install. I really like the features and the interface, too.

What do you blog the most about?

My business

What kind of blogs make you angry?

Blogs that are basically parked domains. Its ok to post infrequently, but making 2 posts the day the blog is created and leaving it is another thing altogether.

Give five of your best blogging tips.

1. blog often (I don't follow this rule so well) 2. use proper punctuation and grammar 3. back up your stories with links and sources 4. use photos, video, or other multimedia to attract the eye 5. try to start a conversation around your story

What are some things you would NEVER blog about?

On this blog:

My personal life or my personal views. This is a business blog.

Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?

No. The blog is to promote my business. It has served that purpose well so far. I hope to make it a stronger presence in the future, I am currently laying the foundation.

How long have you been blogging?

About 1 year

About how many hours per day do you spend blogging?

Less than 1 hour per day. I spend several hours a day reading and commenting on other blogs

Do you track RSS feeds and if so, how many do you usually track daily?

Yes. 30-40.

Do you use Digg, and why or why not?

Sometimes. If my feeds are running slow and I get ahead of the internets.

Do you use Stumbleupon, and why or why not?

Sometimes. I like to keep my browser light and free of plugins so its not always running.

What promotional techniques work best for you and why?

SEO. Search traffic is on targeted. Need I say more?

If you could post a blog on any blog in the world, which one would it be and why?

Hmmm...Techcrunch. I would like the exposure...eventually. Although I don't see a reason that I would be on there or be a guest blogger anytime soon if ever.

What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?

Back up your database!!!

Not yet.
