Am trying to keep a finger on the pulse in the publishing industry, writing about various issues, and writing about fellow authors and writers

Books, authors, animal rescue
What kind of blogs make you angry?
I don't get angry about blogs. I find them interesting and I may not always agree, but anger isn't something that happens when I read a variety of blogs.

What are some things you would NEVER blog about?
Never say never.
Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?
I started blogging to have more presence on the Internet, and because I like to write. It's instant, posting a blog. I like the interactiveness of it, with people able to comment.
How long have you been blogging?
I started out slowly. Was busy on other projects, but now I'm posting regularly.
About how many hours per day do you spend blogging?
An hour or two.
Do you track RSS feeds and if so, how many do you usually track daily?
I search the Internet.

No. Not familiar with it.
Do you use Stumbleupon, and why or why not?
No. Not familiar with it.
What promotional techniques work best for you and why?
I have profiles on various sites -- LinkedIn, AmazonConnect (for authors), Facebook, etc. -- for higher visibility and networking.
If you could post a blog on any blog in the world, which one would it be and why?
HuffingtonPost.com I like that she started with a blog (although she was well known at the time), and turned it into what it is today. She covers various issues, not just politics, and also breaks news on her blog.
What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?
Post regularly, otherwise if people go to the blog and see the same thing sitting there, they might not return.

ac360.blogs.cnn.com (Anderson Cooper commenting about news stories); HuffingtonPost.com (current); negotiationlawblog.com (thought-provoking, and it offers tools for negotiating); Bill Maher's blog when his show was in season
Have you met anyone offline as a result of your blog?
No.
Does blogging improve your writing?
It does. Because I'm writing in real time, and writing in between book projects and deadlines, it forces me to right concisely, and not ramble. I don't want to bore the reader.
