I write about serious photography tips and marketing plans. But at times I do a humorous post. I think it is important to offer comic relief to serious subjects. My blog is directed to photographers who want to improve their craft. I offer advice for the beginner to the accomplished professional.
I have been noted for my own photography and have been published nationally, including National Geographic. I hope not only to provide great advice to photographers, but to introduce my world of photography to others.
Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?
I consider it important to pass some of the lessons I have learned about photography to others. I also wish to introduce others to my art Photography craft.
What blogging platform do you do and why?
I use Blogger for this site. I use it because of the flexibility I have with the format. I also a WordPress to display my gallery which is based on the Flickr API. I highly suggest using multiple platforms to gain the best benefits from each one.
What do you blog the most about?
Photography, nature, and animal photography is my niche. And most of my advice is directed to photographers who are interested in that field.
What kind of blogs make you angry?
I do not read blogs that would make me angry. I use my time to explore the positive. This is a time management issue. And blogs that are positive are much more useful for me to explore.

1. Be efficient. 2. Be meaningful. 3. Offer great content. 4. Make your blog visually appealing. 5. Give a personal insight to your character.
What are some things you would NEVER blog about?
I am not one to blog about negative, or offensive subjects. On the other hand, I would blog about the beauty found in this world.
Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?
I blog for the purpose of promoting my own photography and earning something through sales. I also blog just for the pure enjoyment of sharing ideas. Do I make money? I do, but it is all interconnected with my photography
How long have you been blogging?
I have blogged about photography only recently. I wanted to make sure I had something to offer others. On other subjects I have blogged for eight years.
About how many hours per day do you spend blogging?
One to two hours, I am very time conscious because I would rather be photographing.
Do you track RSS feeds and if so, how many do you usually track daily?
Four or Five I keep it limited to the content I am interested in.
Do you use Digg, and why or why not?
I have occasionally used Digg. And perhaps will use it more in the future.
Do you use Stumbleupon, and why or why not?
Yes, I have used Stumbleupon and find it effective.
What promotional techniques work best for you and why?
My best promotion is my pictures themselves.
If you could post a blog on any blog in the world, which one would it be and why?
Smashing Magazine http://www.smashingmagazine.com/ They have a great readership and cover subjects I enjoy. They have also linked to one of my Flickr photos and the views sky rocketed.
What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?
The simple mistakes are the worst. Spelling, layout and too many ads. I have made all of these mistakes and work carefully to avoid them.
Have you met anyone offline as a result of your blog?
Yes, I have. In fact many people locally.
