Describe your blog:
Orange County's first political blog, since 2003. Our bloggers include Democrats, Republicans and Independents. We provide political news and commentary you cannot find anywhere else.
Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?
Our goal is political reform.
What blogging platform do you do and why?
blogspot.com, because it is free and we have been using it for a long time, since 2003.
What do you blog the most about?
Politics in Orange County, particularly in Santa Ana, which is Orange County's county seat.
What kind of blogs make you angry?
I don't generally waste time being angry, but I don't like blogs that tow the party line. Our bloggers write what they want to, not what their parties tell them to.

Blog often! Do your research and get other bloggers to help you out.
What are some things you would NEVER blog about?
We write about a lot of things, but we generally stay out of social issues like sex. Other than that, the sky is the limit, but we focus on politics.
Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?
No, but we are working on adding ads to our blog.

No. I never heard of it.

Links on other blogs. People who read blogs are open to reading other blogs.
If you could post a blog on any blog in the world, which one would it be and why?
I am happy blogging on my own blog.
What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?
Our first URL was unwieldy and hard to remember. Try to pick something folks can type easily and remember.
What are your top five blogging site picks and why?
I like Blognetnews.com and technorati.com. They do a good job covering political blogs. I don't know of many others but am looking for more.
Have you met anyone offline as a result of your blog?
Sure. I am pretty well known in my area because of my blog. I meet folks quite often who know me from my blog but have not met me in person before.
What political party do you belong to?
I am an independent, decline to state voter.
