Please describe your blog
It's all about mixing new style music, mostly electro, minimal and techno with poetry - both contemporary and classic. The results are astounding - people love the format and it really takes them on a mental journey. The music breaks up the poetry and focuses the words much more clearly in the mind. You'll have to hear it for yourself though...
Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?
Probably like any blogger, we feel we have something interesting to share with the community and blogging has become one of the best ways of communicating with like minded people.
What blogging platform do you do and why?
We use blogger.com mostly because it was the first blogging platform we found instructions on how to embed it into our own homepage ;.) but it's a great platform, really easy to use. Of course we are big fans of Matt and WordPress too.
What do you blog the most about?
Music and our live shows. After every show we post a little comment, the sound and the pictures from the show. We try and play some exclusive tunes in each show so we post about those too.
What kind of blogs make you angry?
We don't really get angry, but negative blogs and negative commenters should consider why they are even posting...
Give five of your best blogging tips.
Post often but don't post stuff not worth other people's time. Be respectful of other people's time and the quality of your posts should get better.
What are some things you would NEVER blog about?
don't know - we never blog about them :-)
we try and stay away from politics.
Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?
we never started the show with the intention of making money. however the bigger the show gets (i.e. the more guests come around each time to drink loads of beer) the more money we need to finance it. so we're trying to make some using AdSense, at least to cover the server costs. but we're still very new to this.

Digg is awesome, we love the concept.

haven't tried that one yet.
What promotional techniques work best for you and why?
Word of mouth is the best followed by having real relationships with musicians - it's the only way to stay in the scene and get the latest tunes to play.

on TechCrunch - their no.1
What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?
no clever tips here - probably never to post while you're angry
What are your top five blogging site picks and why?
Alltop is pretty cool, even though it's not original TechCrunch as mentioned before There need to be more cool underground dance blogs out there
