Please describe your blog
Oh well, it's a blog about music in my life. About gigs I visit, about albums I listen to and find interesting to share, about new artists I find... so a lot of music connected stuff.
Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?
That's a hard question actually. I used to want to become a journalist when I was younger and I'm actually studying it right now at university but I know that I don't want to become one. But what I really love doing is working with music. I don't play instruments on my own but I have some experience in music world. I guess one of the purpose of that blog is to become sort of a portfolio... a place where I can write about music and get more experience with music business.
What blogging platform do you do and why?
For my music blog I use Wordpress. Don't even know why I picked it :D I've used Blogger for few years for my personal blog and probably I just got bored with it.
What do you blog the most about?
At MeloSound I certainly write a lot about music. Mostly gig reviews but I want to add there some album reviews. I also have planned to write about music books I read.
Give five of your best blogging tips.
Haha! Blogging tips... let's see... hmm. Always use a photo with the post, it makes reading much more fun. I have no idea what else to say...
What are some things you would NEVER blog about?
Well, never say never, so ;=)
Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?
No, certainly not. I don't think that I personally would be able to make money with blogging. I'm not enough good writer that people would visit my blog that much.
How long have you been blogging?
MeloSound is a pretty new thing and I've worked pretty few with that blog. But I started my personal blog I think in 2005. Last year I also started with my photoblog. So yeah, for three years soon.
About how many hours per day do you spend blogging?
Depends. There are days when I just read other's blogs and don't post anything to my own one but there are also days when I update all three blogs of mine and then it takes more time obviously. Pretty often I write some ideas down before I sit down behind the computer so sometimes I also have some pre-written stuff which makes the time shorter.
Do you use Digg, and why or why not?
I started to use Digg a while ago but I don't know yet what to say about it...
If you could post a blog on any blog in the world, which one would it be and why?
I wouldn't pick anyone's. One blog looks exactly like the person/persons keeping it and if someone else would post there it wouldn't be the same.
Have you met anyone offline as a result of your blog?
Not really. But I have met people and then they've asked me if I'm the author of that blog.
