The Hungry Architect Blog is about home design ideas and resources. I discuss issues surrounding home design, especially around defining needs, wants and constraints that inform the home design. A significant feature of the blog is the "Ask the Architect" section where readers post questions that I answer.
Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?
It's a marketing tool. It shows prospective clients that I'm knowledgeable and skilled in the areas they're concerned about.
What blogging platform do you do and why?
WordPress - because it's open source, easily configured, can work off my domain name and plays well with the website.
What do you blog the most about?
I answer questions folks have about their homes or design ideas.
Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?
I started blogging for self promotion. The blog has increased my website activity dramatically.
