GFTG stems from a golf addict's need to become more involved with the game she loves as well as serve as a creative outlet of expression. Visitors enjoy commentary and discussion of all things relating to amateur golf, from the mundane to the serious. It's all about amateur golf!
Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?
Long range plans include implementing a planned business model to eventually establish GFTG as a non-profit organization.
What blogging platform do you do and why?
Wordpress. I've dabbled with others and find the ease of use and flexibility of Wordpress to be outstanding.
What do you blog the most about?
Golf, golf and more golf.
What kind of blogs make you angry?
Those who set up a blog and leave it forever with no new or relevant content and blogs that have no main theme.
Give five of your best blogging tips.
Post often. Check your spelling. Make it pretty but easy to read at the same time. Get reciprocal links! Have enthusiasm for your subject matter.
What are some things you would NEVER blog about?
I try not to be negative. I don't want my site to drift off topic, leaving amateur golf to write about pro golf.
Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?
I would love to make a living blogging but it hasn't happened yet (just ask my husband!)

Too many different ads took away from the quality of the site
