Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?

I'm a freelance writer, programmer and web developer. I am also the person behind a range of environmental awareness websites covering issues such as global warming, peak oil, energy and water shortages, pollution, recycling and more. You can find these sites by browsing my blog.

What do you blog the most about?

Ones where the blogger can't be bothered to spell-check their postings.

Blog what you REALLY care about Don't rant - nobody likes rants Don't repeat yourself - if you said it before it's in your blog already Only reply once or twice to comments - otherwise you look weak Keep perspective - read ten blog posts for every one you write

Scientology - leave well alone

Nope. Making money would be nice, but I have stuff that needs saying.

Only about 2-3 months.

A couple.

No - I hunt out info

Yes - sometimes, but I only ever get a few Diggs.

Do you use Stumbleupon, and why or why not?

Yes - a lot - I get lots of Stumblers - they never click ads though...

What promotional techniques work best for you and why?

Get to know other bloggers. Comment to their posts in a constructive way. They will add you to their Blogroll more easily.

If you could post a blog on any blog in the world, which one would it be and why?

It'd be Boing Boing for sure - cos it's huge.

What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?

Don't post because you think others will like what you are posting. They probably won't. Just post what's important to you. That way similar minded people will gravitate to your blog.

What are your top five blogging site picks and why?

Matt Cutts - Google - must read. Miss Snark - was a must read until she retired

No.
