Running With Letters explores the nooks and crannies of the iffy state of mishap in which we all reside. It's a place where readers can pull up a monitor, grab a coffee, diet cola-- or even a sip from a nearby water fountain if that's all that's on hand-- and enjoy a few laughs and some fresh perspective before delving back into their individual uncertainties.
Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?
Like all bloggers, I aim to amass an army of followers and volumes of comments, eventually securing a six digit book deal from a major publisher. But I'd settle for a small yet devoted community of fellow writers, moms, and average women that I'd be proud to call my virtual friends.
What blogging platform do you do and why?
I use blogger because it was the first blogging platform I found, and discovered to my amazement, that I could actually navigate its features.
What do you blog the most about?
Everyday happenings that illustrate the wonder and beauty of life, moments that leave me breathless with amazement or wheezing in laughter,odd happenings, unlikely blunders, crazy experiments..the stuff of life to which we can all relate and really should celebrate.
Running With Letters is all about stories, with characters as diverse as rubber duckies, bad dogs, grade school artists, cranky clerks, and the New York Yankees. Every day is its own story-- I document as many as I can.
What are some things you would NEVER blog about?
Politics. It's just not worth the drama.
How long have you been blogging?
After a false start in '05 consisting of a scant four posts, I went on hiatus for the entirety '06 and reemerged in the spring of 07, a stint that has survived graduate school, a cross country road trip, and miscellaneous
About how many hours per day do you spend blogging?
Anywhere from zero to way too many, depending on the day, my mood, and if the beach calls.
What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?
High expectations.
