Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?

I'm trying to make it a bit easier to celebrate food one day @ a time.

I often find myself sharing culinary tidbits. For instance, Do you know who invented the toothpick? What is a Kettledrum? Who made the very first Eskimo Pie? When was Fannie Farmer born and Why is she called the Mother of Level Measurements?
