Throughout the world there is mounting fear, mightily resisted--a fear of loss and death. We often feel threatened by shakey status quo, interminable war, natural disasters, retirement shortfalls, heating and food crises. Facing these fears may return us to the beauty of community and the understanding that death and loss are natural parts of living.
