The blog focuses on retailers in the fashion industry. The purpose is to provide fashion trends, business information, statistics, and new products in fashion jewelry and accessories to help retailers achieve success.

Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?

We try to provide genuine information to help retailers succeed, which in turn contributes to our success as a wholesaler.

We use Word Press because one of the tech savy consultants we use suggested it.

Spammy self promotion and sites taking attack positions

Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?

Yes, blogging was another avenue to get exposure for an ecommerce business. Blogging is new for us and so hasn't produced results yet. I feel it takes more than a month of steady blogging before we will get noticed.

Not yet. We track stats on our website adn are going to set up tracking for the blog.

Digg is becoming too centralized on a few large sites.

Yes, Stumbleupon gets good raves, especially if members have a large community with the same interests.

What promotional techniques work best for you and why?

We are so new to this we can't answer. The next couple of months will be experimental.
