Trying to determine the purpose of my blog using it's name it is wrong direction. Eventought my blog name is Macedonomics derived from Macedonia and Economics it is not only about economy in Macedonia, i discuss a lot of things i come across on the web, commenting news, and responding to other economics bloggers. I am only a student on economics, not a Harvard professor having a blog, so don't have huge expectations from it, mostly you will come over comments on lectures i learn during the study and my perception of them which wont be in ordinary way, i will put some fun in it, and of course /spit all the boring stuffs.
What's your blog main purpose ?
Main purpose is to help my colleges, making them enjoy in studying economics. There is always fun, and simplicity in everything, i try to find it and present it. Also i try to make the rest of the world enjoy in my newbish comments on economics.
What do you blog the most about?
Well, since i don’t have the knowledge to blog high-profile economics and make good comments of it, i will mostly blog on the lectures i learn during my study and give you my perception of it.
What kind of blogs make you angry?
Well if I am sincere: new blog’s in econ world, the one’s just like mine. :D
Give five of your best blogging tips.
1.I never post just to post, i always have good inspiration to make the post. That doesn’t meant all posts are good. 2. I try to make my blog look as simple as it can. 3.I should try to avoid making small posts with 1-sentence comment, and a link to a whole article That make’s it 3 which I think it is quite enough.
What are some things you would NEVER blog about?
Sports, fashion.. never ever.
Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?
No, no, I have applied for google adsense, but I don’t blog for making money, I blog because I enjoy it. And google adsense it is just something I just picked on the way, if I ever get a payout(which I don’t believe I will, because of little readers) I will probably use the money to buy a part of my summer economics reading list :D
How long have you been blogging?
Since February 2008.
About how many hours per day do you spend blogging?
I spend 2-3 hours reading blogs, news, i comment on it for about 10-20 minutes, and if i write my story it dosn't takes longer then an hour.
Do you track RSS feeds and if so, how many do you usually track daily?
No i dont, and i dont intend to, it spoil's the fun in blogging.
What promotional techniques work best for you and why?
Commenting on other blog's, sumbiting to directorie's etc.
If you could post a blog on any blog in the world, which one would it be and why?
Wow.. that confused me, i acctualy dont like posting on other blogs.
