Bloggy Paws Interview

By Interviewer at 02/12/09 08:15

What is the name of your Blog?

Bloggy Paws

What is your name?

Scratchy Paw

Where are you from? (include country, state and/or city)

Oshkosh, WI

What is your current age or age range?

21 (in human years)

Please describe your blog

Being a canine is not all about sticking your face out a car window or getting patted on the head. It can be very barky and growly at times. Especially when you live with the family I do. Certainly an entertaining bunch. Some of the things that happen are too good to be true. Since I am the eyes, ears, and nose of the family I thought, "Hey why not blog about my experiences?"

Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?

Canine's are more than just man's best friend. Sure we're loyal, trustworthy and all that...but we do have our own minds you know. About time one of us barked it to the rest of the world.

What do you blog the most about?

The family. The leader of the pack, Lewis. I call him Hairless. Then there's Queenie, she has Lewis wrapped around her little paw. Of course the little ones Trenton (Madly) and Trevor (Buddy) make life interesting and satisfying. They're always good for a table scrap or two.

Give five of your best blogging tips.

1. Only blog when your owners are away from the computer. 2. Blog about the things that make you happy; like steak, bones, fire hydrants, and rabbits. Oh yeah, and socks too! 3. Know your readers. If I have a new reader that's a dalmatian, I might throw in a blurb about spots or ADHD just to make him happy. 4. Include a visual with most blogs. A nice picture of a juicy hot dog will keep them animals coming back for more. 5. Keep posting. A bored pup is more likely to scratch the kitchen linoleum or tear apart a pillow than access your blog if it hasn't been updated.

What are some things you would NEVER blog about?

Cats! That includes lions and tigers as well.

Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?

No. I'm in it for the snausages.

How long have you been blogging?

Although it's only been three days it seems more like 21.

What promotional techniques work best for you and why?

I bark out my url to the neighborhood dogs whenever I'm on a potty break.

What is the url of your blog?
