Fluffyland is a photo blog of my sewing and craft projects. I also write a haiku a day and post some of my own photography.

Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?

I hope to inspire people and share the spirit of creativity in a world where handmade things are losing their value. I also have a business, Fluffyland.com, that I am attempting to promote. It is also nice for me because in the future I can look back and remember the many things I have made and how I can improve.

What blogging platform do you do and why?

wordpress! it always seemed easiest since i already had my own domain

What do you blog the most about?

sewing! actually right now i have a daily haiku project where i just post a haiku a day with a picture.. as a college student i don't have time for much more than that.

What kind of blogs make you angry?

political blogs that oppose my views.

Give five of your best blogging tips.

exercise it... creativity and writing ability are like muscles that just need constant stretching.

What are some things you would NEVER blog about?

most of my personal life... boyfriends, family, friends...

Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?

i did not. i have ads now but i make like 10 cents a day. it's just enough to keep the domain from actually costing money.

How long have you been blogging?

quite awhile. i'm about to be a sophomore in college and i've been blogging since freshman year of high school... going on 5 years.

About how many hours per day do you spend blogging?

usually about a half hour, some days though up to 2 depending on how many pictures, etc

Do you track RSS feeds and if so, how many do you usually track daily?

i have a list of 20 or so

Do you use Digg, and why or why not?

nope, always seemed silly, and it's not for my kind of audience anyway.

Do you use Stumbleupon, and why or why not?

yes! it's fun and rather addicting. it has given me a lot of hits to my site/

What promotional techniques work best for you and why?

crafting forums, offering free tutorials
