Many people are crazy about search engine optimization (SEO). They love to make love with search engines, sometimes to the point of forgetting that the original purpose of a blog is to bring valuable content to readers.
Case in point: this banking blog that was just sold by a whopping $15M! Yes, you read it right. But when you inspect it, you'll find out that it does not give much focus on SEO. What made it sell for that high? Content, people. Content!
