If you've got a website, even a small one, even if unpopular, you can make a nickel or two off of it. You have to pay for hosting, domain registration, and probably a number of other costs. Wouldn't it be great if you could get paid by people who find you interesting, and just because you write good content?Google Adsense is the most liberal about whom they'll accept, and their ads pay about as well as anything on the market. Better still, nobody gets offended by Google ads. They're smart, based on context, and unobtrusive. If you show 300 pages per day, you can expect anywhere from $9 to $30 per month, which is $108 to $360 per year. It's not a huge amount of money, but it more than pays for your real costs with enough left over to buy a new camera, maybe pay for some ads, or give the rest to charity. Nobody is offended by Google Ads, so if you're feeling uppity, give the money to the homeless or upgrade to Starbucks and call it even. Tags: blog profits • adsense • 0 Comments. - Permalink |
